So when I was younger I used to daydream about how I wanted my life to be.  More times often than none, life never turns out the way you plan it.  Well I’m of the majority on that one.

I never planned on having a child at 21, but who does, right?!  On top of that I never planned to be raising my son without his dad.  Another thought that never crossed my mind, at least before I had my babylove, was that I’d actually feel more blessed and thankful for my life than I ever thought possible.

Just because life doesn’t turn out how YOU planned it for yourself doesn’t mean it’s a bad life.  It doesn’t mean you fucked up and everything is going down the drain.  It doesn’t mean you can’t be happy with the life you’ve been chosen to lead.  What it does mean is you have to open your eyes and find the blessing in all the obstacles you’ve overcome.  Happiness is what you make it.  You may have been dealt a shitty hand, but…

it doesn’t have to remain that way.
